- During the 14-day free trial, nothing is charged. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you pay nothing at all.
- Your first paid month has a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 30 days of your first charge and we refund it in full, no questions asked.
- You can cancel any time for future months — two clicks in the Stripe customer portal, reachable from your account. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
30-day money-back guarantee
If Clef isn't for you, email hello@playclef.com within 30 days of your first paid charge and we'll refund that first month in full — no questions, no forms. The refund goes back to your original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days.
This guarantee is a voluntary contractual promise. It applies in addition to your statutory rights and never limits them.
EU/EEA statutory right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it (i.e., of creating your subscription), without giving any reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us — Daniel Dratschuk, Schölerpad 235, 45355 Essen, Germany, hello@playclef.com — of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unambiguous declaration (for example, an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of withdrawal — and how the free trial makes this simple
Clef is an ongoing digital service. If the service begins during the withdrawal period at your request, on withdrawal you owe a proportionate amount for what was provided up to that point. In practice this is simpler than it sounds: your 14-day withdrawal period runs entirely inside your 14-day free trial, during which nothing is charged. If you withdraw (or simply cancel) during it, you pay nothing.
If we owe you a repayment, we will make it without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you.

After the first month
Charges for months that have already elapsed are not refunded — cancellation stops all future charges instead, and you keep access until the end of the paid period. If something has gone genuinely wrong, write to us anyway; we would rather sort it out than hold you to a technicality.
